Spent 3 days to unwind in Cambria at this property and looking forward to going back. Love the layout of this house and the huge deck with ocean view was definitely a well-enjoyed bonus. The appliances worked well and the rooms were spacious. The property itself needed some TLC in some areas (some blinds were broken/missing panels, carpet stains) but this didn't bother us much. Also the towels badly need a refresh... they are so worn out that some have holes, are so faded, and some are stained. So glad we brought our own towels. Overall though, we had a wonderful time and were able to achieve our goal of relaxing and unwinding.

Come back to this house 2 x a year for about 10 yrs now. Love the location and the layout of the house. Walk my dog to Shamel Park everyday. Minor things need repair but nothing major. The fireplace in the living room doesn't give off heat but the one in the bedroom is almost too hot. Garage door opener not working, even after replacing the battery. Otherwise a great stay for 7 days.

We had a lovely stay in Cambria at 516 Plymouth house. The house was clean and comfortable, the kitchen great for cooking and the king bed very comfortable. It was a joy to work with Cambria Escapes agency. They were very friendly, informative and responsive. The deck had a nice distant white water view facing up the coast, which was deceptive since it was actually just 3 short blocks to the ocean bluff. It was a nice easy walk with just enough exertion coming back to feel like you got some exercise. The deck itself could use new patio furniture, but the grill was very good. The couch in the living room could also use an update, but was sufficient for our needs. Although we didn't use the other 2 bedrooms, they were a nice size. It would be a great house for 6 people. There's no yard to speak of for the dogs, but we walked them through the neighborhood just fine. The town of Cambria is charming with lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. We will rent this house again.

The home is beautifully decorated and in a great location with a small but lovely view of the ocean. We enjoyed our stay very much. There are lots of steps, which were hard on some of our party. Maybe that should be mentioned in the description. A few other things that would be helpful: It would be nice to have chairs on the deck. A garage door opener would help. Not so good things: Management gave us the wrong code to the lock box and it took a while to figure that out; carpet needs replacing; kitchen is not well-equipped for people who like to cook; seems as though management doesn't look in on the property as often as they might as raccoons had strewn trash all over the driveway and we had to clean it up before we could pull our cars in.

I have stayed at several homes in Cambria. This is now one of my favorite. This home is in a perfect location. It is an easy walk down to Shamel Park,beach and into town. The home is clean. The linens for the beds are good quality. It has a wonderful layout with the huge master upstairs a two nice bedrooms downstairs. The patio was large with table, chairs and a great gas grill. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced,all other beds were comfortable. Coastal Escapes is a wonderful vacation rental company. I recommend Coastal Escapes to all my friends and family.

Currently driveway hidden by more mature vegetation which should be trimmed for safety. Inside clean & house nicely equipped but carpet badly stained and furniture not comfortable unless you want to sleep on it. Kitchen clean and nice. Master suite very nice with nice view. Many steps. To carry Luggage and groceries a challenge for the over 80 crowd, but would definitely recommend if you are in fairly good physical condition. Good eating at Linn's and Main Street Grill. Lots of shops with unique gifts.

Location and ocean views were excellent. Easy walk to Fiscallini Ranch Preserve, Shamel Park and Main Street Cambria. Our adventures included boogie boarding at Cayucos, visiting elephant seal colony north of San Simeon, strolling along Embarcadero in Morro Bay and out to Morro Rock (lots of sea otters!), day trip to Ragged Point/hike to Salmon Creek Falls, and Farmers Market Thursday PM in SLO. Multiple deer sightings including one 20 feet from the front door of rental. House on Plymouth was well kept and equipped including 1-car garage. Carpet shows some staining but no pet odors were noted. Overall, we were very satisfied and would rent the same place again.

Stayed for a few days in October. The location was amazing! The deck and master bedroom have great ocean views. The neighborhood was very quiet! We walked all around and down to the beach everyday. The house would be perfect for a family. It has plenty of room for families and lots of bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with some extras in the fridge! The only downsides of this place were the beds, couch and when we first got there it was musty smelling. Master bed was sagging in paces. Downstairs beds were firm. Couch was extremely saggy.
