The house is sort of what I would call retro. The converted garage apartment was not usable for much of my stay because of all the rain the carpet was wet. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the garage. Wifi, cable, and cell service was good.

It was perfect for our family vacation. This cozy little cottage with detached in-law quarters was filled with all the comforts of home. Clean, bright, and cheerful with room for 6 plus a sofa and fold out futon makes 8. It is literally 100 yards from beach access which made it very convenient. We cooked every evening and lacked none of the essentials. Wifi, cable, DVD player, washer and dryer, compact dish washer, fridge with ice maker, and traditional coffee pot made it easy. The laundry room is stocked with wake boards and folding chairs. Heads up: bring your own laundry soap, dish soap, and dishwasher pods, along with all of your condiments for meals. Salt and pepper provided. Enjoy!

We had a fantastic week at the little beach house. This was our second stay at 21 13th street and we will likely be back in the next 6-12 months. The location is great with a stroll on the beach or short bike ride on quiet streets into town. Close to beach access so when the kids get hungry or if you forget something at the house you can just run up and grab it and be back in the sand and surf in 5 minutes. The house is not glitzy or glamorous but comfortable, cozy, and has all the amenities you need for a fun beach getaway.

We've actually stayed at this house twice now. The location is great(walking distance to the beach). We love the back house, that's where we put the teenagers! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking. It's always clean and bright. The only disappointment was that the little storage area was locked and that's where the lawn chairs are! The neighbor to the east was also really nice. She was like family by the time we left. We love this town! We love this house! The only concern this year is we had to battle ants all week. :( We kept all food put away and kept the floors clean, but they just kept coming!Every morning and everytime we would be gone for awhile they would be back. I even sprayed the outside of all the windows and doors and someone from the office put out bait. It won't stop us from returning to "our beach house" next year though!

We had the most fabulous week in Cayucos in July of 2014. The weather was warm for most of the week, and we could see Morro Rock all the time. We had told our guests to bring sweatshirts, but they needed shorts. We had lots of fun staying in our favorite, affordable house on 13th street.

This was a great property to share with another family or older kids because of seperate dwelling. We had a wonderful & time. Property is walking distance (block & half) to beach entrance close to town.

We have rented through Coastal Escapes twice and have no complaints. This house was great because we were able to put the young adults in the back house. We were close enough to the beach to walk and to be able to hear the waves at night. Staying in a house is so much nicer than a hotel and we'll be back next year!
